In this first themed event the BRN will focus on the history of bookselling. The event will kick off with short presentations by Dr Will Smith (Sam Read Bookseller) and Professor Simon Eliot (Institute of English Studies, London), followed by a series of five-minute lightning talks.
These five minute presentations cover:
- Pitching a project idea
- Sharing current research areas and topics of interest
- Booksellers sharing current practice – including what bookshops did during the Coronavirus pandemic
If you would like to contribute, by sharing a topic of interest or something you have been doing, please do get in touch to be allocated a five-minute slot: contact Sofie Roberts cop402@bangor.ac.uk
This event will contribute to developing research in bookselling. There is no charge for attendance, and you can register for the meeting using this link: https://bit.ly/3vbJ5kn
