I am an interdisciplinary scientist, keen on producing real-world outputs that can be applied in numerous policy and business contexts. My particular interests focus on the interactions between people and nature, particularly within the tropics. Key subject areas include:
- Adaptation
- Climate Change

- Land use/cover change
- Migration
- Resilience
- Tipping points
My projects focus on ecosystems services (the benefits humans derive from nature) in rural and urban areas, using innovative methods (e.g. smartphones; https://msds.tools/).
