Salamatu Jidda Fada said: “I am truly honoured to be part of Bangor University’s International Women’s Day celebration. This year’s theme, ‘resilience and collaboration’ resonates deeply with me because it reflects the spirit of women whose strength and generosity uplift entire communities. From North Wales to Northern Nigeria, I am inspired by the resilience, courage, and achievements of women who continue to push boundaries while reminding us of the work that still needs to be done. I’m grateful for the opportunity to join this conversation and to celebrate the power of women’s voices, leadership, and shared experiences.”
The conversation will be moderated by Enlli Thomas, Pro Vice-Chancellor: “This year’s theme is resilience and collaboration. We are delighted to bring together four extraordinary women whose work spans different disciplines and geographies, and whose experiences remind us of the power of perseverance, creativity and partnership to drive meaningful change.”
The event forms part of Bangor University’s celebrations recognising the achievements and contributions of women locally and globally.
