It was published from the 1st January 1831 until May 1832 by R.M.
Preece and Company and then from May 1832 to January 1836 by William
Potter and Company. In 1836 the paper was relaunched under the
name Carnarvon and Denbigh Herald ... and by now the sole owner
was James Rees, a native of Caerfyrddin, who had been linked with
the paper from the early days as an inspector and printer in the
offices of R.M. Preece and Company and then with William Potter
and Company.
