Amcanion cyffredinol
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS MODULE IS DELIVERED THROUGH THE MEDIUM OF WELSH AND ENGLISH. This module will explore the complex relationships between children, families and society. Topics will include protective and risk factors associated with child development and well-being, including the most common trajectories associated with these factors.
In addition, the module aims to introduce some of the policies and interventions that have been implemented in an attempt to improve child development and wellbeing and will discuss the challenges faced in delivering interventions in a real-world setting.
Cohort studies, randomised controlled trails and relevant research methods will be introduced.

Understand the key role that behavioural principles play in changing parenting behaviours, with the intention of changing child behaviours and positive child outcomes in the long-term
