We accept applications throughout the year.
For most courses, we recommend applying by the end of June for a September start, or the end of October for a January start.

Postgraduate Taught Courses
Postgraduate taught degrees give you structured, in-depth learning through lectures, seminars and practical work. You’ll build advanced skills, complete a range of assessments and gain experience in independent research that prepares you for the next stage in your career.
At Bangor, you can study a wide range of taught postgraduate qualifications, including MSc, MA, MBA, MMus, LLM and PGCE.
Postgraduate Research Courses
Postgraduate research degrees give you the space, support and academic freedom to explore a topic in depth and make an original contribution to your field. You’ll take the lead on your research, work closely with expert supervisors and bring your ideas to life through an independent thesis.
At Bangor, you can choose from a wide range of research qualifications, including LLM, PhD, MPhil, MRes, Professional Doctorate, MScRes, MARes, DHealthCare, EdD and MMusRes.

We guarantee accommodation for postgraduate applicants who:
- apply for a full-time course starting in September
- study at our Bangor campus
- achieve unconditional status before 7 August (international applicants with conditional offers can also apply)
- apply for halls by 7 August
Most postgraduate rooms are single-occupancy, with en-suite, studio or townhouse options. Apply before the deadline and you’ll be able to choose your preferred room.
