I am a PhD student researching the role of gulls in spreading antimicrobial resistance. In 2019 I completed an integrated masters at Cardiff University, where my thesis involved studying the diet of seabirds using molecular techniques. Following this, I worked for the Pathogen Genomics Unit at Public Health Wales, carrying out Covid-19 genome sequencing.
