Rhagolwg
Nia is a lecturer at the Albert Gubay Business School, teaching on a range of undergraduate modules. She is also the school's undergraduate admissions tutor (2022-present) and Director of Student Engagement (2025-present).
Previously, Nia worked as a Graduate Teaching and Research Assistant (2011-2013) and Teaching Associate (2013-2024) at the business school.
In 2020 Nia became a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) for her excellence in teaching.

This project is aimed at establishing our group as a key centre of expertise for all those wishing to understand the context of taxation in Wales. Our vision is to leverage our research to enhance tax policy debates and inform public discourse, both in the run up to the 2026 Senedd elections and in relation to ongoing questions over Wales’s constitutional future.
