Overall aims and purpose

Ar y modiwl hwn, mae myfyrwyr yn datblygu sgiliau cerddolegol pellach drwy astudio pwnc penodol yn fanwl. Mae'r myfyrwyr yn dewis pwnc o restr o opsiynau. Diffinir pynciau fel naill ai weithiau gan gyfansoddwr neu grŵp o gyfansoddwyr, arddull neu genre o gerddoriaeth (yn ystod cyfnod hanesyddol penodol fel arfer), neu repertoire o gerddoriaeth a fodolwyd mewn cyfnod/lle penodol neu am bwrpas penodol. Cynigir o leiaf tri opsiyn, sy'n ymwneud â arbenigedd staff.

Mae'r modiwl yn rhoi gwybodaeth fanwl o'r pwnc detholedig i fyfyrwyr, wrth eu galluogi i ddatblygu eu sgiliau mewn dadansoddi cerddoriaeth, astudio ffynonellau, a deall cyd-destunau.

Cynnig opsiynau gwahanol ar Genres a Chyfansoddwyr C (ym Mlwyddyn 3). Mae opsiynau pellach ar gael yn Saesneg ar Genres & Composers B (Blwyddyn 2 Semester 2) a D (Blwyddyn 3 Semester 2).
