Mr Jaz Stoddart

Rhagolwg
I work on applications of remote sensing in forestry; using point clouds derived from photogrammetry, airborne laser scanning and terrestrial laser scanning to inform models and derive inventory data.

Addysgu ac Arolygiaeth
I have been fortunate enough to lecture to master’s degree students, both in person and remote, for the semester long duration of the module “Inventory, assessment, and monitoring” in the forestry master’s course. I lectured during the academic year of 2021-22 and contined to assist with lectures in the academic year 2022-23 both in lecture delivery and making changes and improvements to the module.
Lecture materials specialise in methods of experimental design and data collection using field-based and remote sensing methodologies for inventory and monitoring of forests.
