Overall aims and purpose

Bydd y modiwl hwn yn bwrw golwg ar rai o uchelfannau llenyddiaeth Gymraeg yr Oesoedd Canol. Ceir cyflwyniad byr i’r traddodiad barddol Cymraeg, ac astudir enghreifftiau o’r farddoniaeth Gymraeg gynharaf (Taliesin ac Aneirin) ynghyd â chywyddau gan Ddafydd ap Gwilym. Bydd cyfle hefyd i astudio’r gynghanedd, ac i ymgyfarwyddo â rhai o chwedlau’r Mabinogion.

Course content

Bydd y modiwl hwn yn bwrw golwg ar rai o uchelfannau llenyddiaeth Gymraeg yr Oesoedd Canol. Ceir cyflwyniad byr i’r traddodiad barddol Cymraeg, ac astudir enghreifftiau o’r farddoniaeth Gymraeg gynharaf (Taliesin ac Aneirin) ynghyd â chywyddau gan Ddafydd ap Gwilym. Bydd cyfle hefyd i astudio’r gynghanedd, ac i ymgyfarwyddo â rhai o chwedlau’r Mabinogion.
