Mrs Lorraine Westwood

Lorraine joined the University in April 2020 taking up the new role of Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President International. Her portfolio at Bangor includes communications, marketing, student recruitment, the International Education Centre, alumni, fundraising, admissions and the Reaching Wider Partnership. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Lorraine has over twenty years of experience in senior marketing management in higher education. This has ranged from large inner city institutions to small specialist and from single campus to multi campus. She has built and led award winning teams and in 2019 was awarded the prestigious Marketer of the Year award by the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Lorraine has also held a number of voluntary posts within the higher education sector. This has included being a Trustee of a Students Union and most recently supporting the work of CASE Europe (Council for Advancement and Support of Education).
