Overview

Nod y modiwl hwn yw cyflwyno’r iaith Wyddeleg modern, fel y’i siaredir a’i hysgrifennir heddiw, i rai heb wybodaeth flaenorol o’r iaith honno. Gwneir hyn drwy osod sylfeini ar gyfer dysgu pellach i'r sawl a fynno barhau â'u hastudiaethau. Ar sgiliau ymarferol (medru darllen, siarad a deall yr iaith) y mae’r ffocws yn bennaf ond bydd myfyrwyr hefyd yn cael y cyfle i fyfyrio ar berthynas yr Wyddeleg a'r Gymraeg. Rhaid i fyfyrwyr nodi bod angen ymarfer cyson wrth ddysgu iaith, a bydd angen ymrwymiad wythnosol i ddysgu geirfa a strwythurau gramadegol. Bydd asesu parhaol yn caniatau i fyfyrwyr ennill credyd am wneud y gwaith hollbwysig hwn.

  1. Medru ynganu'r Wyddeleg yn gywir, a darllen testunau syml
  2. Medru cynnal sgwrs syml yn y Wyddeleg
  3. Deall hanfodion nifer o bwyntiau gramadegol sylfaenol, e.e.: cystrawen y ferf 'bod' Wyddeleg yn y presennol, gorffennol a dyfodol, Brawddegau cwmpasog (h.y. o'r fath 'byddaf yn gwneud hynny yfory') yn yr amserau a nodir uchod.` Hanfodion y berfau afreolaidd y rhifolion sylfeini system treigladau'r Wyddeleg arddodiaid y cyplad ymwybyddiaeth gyffredinol o'r cyflyrau

Assessment Strategy

Trothwy Er mwyn llwyddo yn y cwrs, bydd myfyrwyr yn dangos dealltwriaeth sylfaenol o’r gwaith a astudiwyd, gan ddangos peth dealltwriaeth o’r ffynonellau ysgrifenedig a llafar, a chan fynegi syniadau syml ar lafar ac yn ysgrifenedig. Byddant yn ymwybodol o rai o’r cysylltiadau rhwng y Gymraeg a’r Wyddeleg. good Bydd myfyrwyr sy’n ennill graddau uwch ar y modiwl hwn yn deall mwy na sylfaen yr hyn a astudiwyd, ond hefyd yn dechrau ymwneud â chymhlethdodau’r iaith (e.e. dealltwriaeth dda o’r treigladau, ac ymwybyddiaeth o ffurfiau lluosog a ffurfiau’r genidol, yn ogystal â ffurfiau cysefin geiriau). Byddant yn medru mynegi eu hunain yn ysgrifenedig ac ar lafar mewn sefyllfaoedd penodol, mewn dull sydd ar y cyfan yn gywir ac yn strwythuredig. Byddant yn dangos ymwybyddiaeth o ffoneteg ac ynganiad yr iaith. Byddant hefyd yn deall sylfaen y berthynas rhwng y Gymraeg a’r Wyddeleg (a’r ieithoedd Celtaidd eraill). excellent Bydd myfyrwyr ardderchog yn arddangos y galluoedd sicr hyn ar draws y meini prawf, yn ogystal â manylder yn eu gwybodaeth o’r meysydd gramadegol a astudiwyd. Mewn sefyllfaoedd penodol, byddant yn gallu mynegi eu hunain yn gywir, ar lafar ac yn ysgrifenedig, gan ddefnyddio’r holl rychwant o strwythurau a geirfa a gyflwynwyd. Bydd ganddynt ddealltwriaeth o’r ffordd y mae strwythurau sylfaenol yr iaith Wyddeleg i’w cymharu ag eiddo’r Gymraeg (a’r ieithoedd Celtaidd eraill)
