Thesis title/research project:
The Protective Properties of Welsh-English Bilingualism in Older Adults.
My research will focus the bilingual advantage hypothesis - the theory that utilisation of executive function processes during language management facilitiates executive function advantages for bilingual individuals. My research will focus on Welsh-English bilingual Older Adults and aims to contribute to the understanding of boundary conditions for the bilingual advantage i.e. why some bilinguals experience an advantage when others do not.
