The program has been designed to allow a student maximum flexibility and choice when selecting their modules. On admission a student must select at least one of the three main pathology discipline modules, this will allow any currently practicing member of the NHS seeking career development to choose the module most pertinent to their work.

Students will then have a wide range of optional modules to choose from including management modules from the Bangor Business School or a wide range of pre-existing School of Medical Sciences modules. This flexibility will suit individuals who want to gain post-graduate qualifications in order to qualify for management positions within the health care system.
