Profile

Almutasembilla Allamis, as of September 2015, a PhD student in Bangor Business Schoolon "Banking and Finance". I have graduated from King Abdula-Aziz University in BSc Business Administration - Financial in 2007. Then, I have studied two Masters: MScFinancial Economics from Essex University in 2011; and MSc Islamic Banking and Finance from Bangor University in 2014. After obtaining my first MSc I worked as a lecturer in the College of Business Administration at University of Business and Technology between 2011 and 2012. Then, I moved to King Abdul-Aziz University to work as a Faculty member at the Islamic Economic Institute who gave me a scholarship to study my second MSc and PhD.

Research Interest

I am interested in the area of Islamic Banking and Finance, Financial Contracts, Financial Development, Financial Inclusion, and Financial Education.

Summary of Research

I am doing my PhD in the area of financial development, I am mainly studying financial inclusion. The research concentrates on measuring financial inclusion and examining its determinants. The research also studies the effect of economic structure on financial inclusion.
