Would you like to be a Peer Guide in September?
The University is now recruiting Peer Guides for September 2019. We hope that you benefitted from having a Peer Guide to ease your introduction to the University, and we would like to invite you to become a Peer Guide yourself.
Peer Guides are volunteers who support new students during arrivals and Welcome Week, and in some instances, beyond the initial induction period. They are supported by Senior Peer guides (all of whom have volunteered over previous years), and by staff within each academic school and by a central team. Peer Guides are eligible for BEA points and the experience itself will benefit your CV.
To become a Peer Guide, you will need to:
- Submit an application via the Peer Guiding website
- Attend a one-off two-hour training session
Please contact peerguiding@bangor.ac.uk if you have any questions.
