Muslim Prayers
The Meeting Room in the Rathbone Annexe is available for Muslim Prayers between 12.30 – 2.30 Monday to Friday. The room is divided in half by a curtain to provide separate space for male and female prayers with separate entrances. Washing facilities are available in the male, female and accessible toilets.
Because the Meeting Room is also used for other faith activities, no personal items should be left in the room.
On some occasions, the Meeting Room may be booked in advance for other faith-based activities. At least two weeks’ notice will be provided of any dates when it is not available for Muslim prayer and this will be advertised on the Rathbone Annexe Notice Boards, on the screens of the Rathbone Foyer and at www.bangor.ac.uk/studentservices/faith
The smaller ‘Quiet Room’ in the Rathbone Annexe is open all day for any individual students of all or no faith who need a space for silent prayer or contemplation.
Please direct any enquires to faith@bangor.ac.uk
