Coronavirus (COVID-19) update

Sports at Bangor

IMPORTANT NEWS

The University Executive has come to the decision following the Government advice that as a public service facility, Canolfan Brailsford, Treborth, Normal Site and St. Mary's Gym will close at 17:00 on Friday, 20th March.

We will keep you updated as to when we will be re-opening. Follow our social media platforms for updates.

Memberships

All direct debit members 1 month and 12 month rolling payments will be frozen for the month of April. There is no need to cancel any payments with your bank. They will only re-start when we re-open the building.

We will freeze all monthly and annual memberships for the period that we are closed. We will stop all Staff Salary Sacrifice deductions as of 31/03/2020 and re-commence them automatically when we re-open, no need to re-apply.

Should you wish to not re-start then you need to inform us at Brailsford@bangor.ac.uk. Unfortunately March deductions are already in process with payroll, having passed the cut-off date to amend payments. All refund queries to Brailsford@bangor.ac.uk

Block bookings

All block bookings are cancelled until further notice. Easter Kids Camps has been cancelled. Can you please contact sportsbookings@bangor.ac.uk with any queries.

All sports sites are closed. Please stay away from Treborth, there will be no access to the pitches or the running track until further notice.

If you have any questions during this period of uncertainty, can you please contact Brailsford@bangor.ac.uk. Your email will be answered in due course. In the meantime, to all our customers, staff and students, take care and thank you for your continued support.
