UCAS Applicant Visit Days – 2019 Entry

The School of Medical Sciences invites all prospective undergraduate students (and families) to attend a School Visit Day after UCAS applications have been received. Invitations are usually sent out in late December/early January.

We strongly recommend that you take this opportunity to visit us, to learn more about the course(s) you have applied for, and experience at first hand the excellent facilities we have to offer.

We feel that your attendance at a UCAS Visit Day is so important that we contribute up to £40 towards your travel costs.

School Visit Days include presentations by the Head of School or Senior Academic and a current student and a buffet lunch gives you an informal opportunity to talk to staff and current students. This is followed by tours of the School laboratories. A central programme offering tours of our accommodation are also included. Details will be sent out with invitations. For those with long journeys, we will include a list of local hotels and bed and breakfasts with your invitation packs.
