UCAS Applicant Visit Days

UCAS Applicant Visit Days provide the perfect opportunity for you to find out more about studying at Bangor. Our staff and students will be on hand to answer any of your questions and give you detailed information about your course of interest. You will also have the opportunity to visit the Halls of Residence to give you a taste for what student life is like at Bangor.

All UCAS applicants who have been made an offer will receive a UCAS Applicant Visit Day invitation. If you have not already applied and would like to attend one of the Visit Days, please contact us on 01248 382281 or email our Admissions Administrator.

Visit Day Programme 2019

Natural Sciences invites all prospective undergraduate students (and families) to attend a School Visit Day after UCAS applications have been received. Invitations are sent out once an offer of a place has been made to you.

Our staff and current students will be on hand to chat with you over a buffet lunch, you will also have course talks delivered by our academic staff and students, where you will be given information about your course of interest. Prospective students will also be taken on a tour of our facilities with current students.

Visit Itinerary

  • 9:45am – arrive at Main University reception, College Road LL57 2DG
  • Welcome, finance and accommodation talks
  • Visit Halls
  • Lunch with staff and students
  • Demonstration lectures and displays
  • Meet Zoology and Biology Academics
  • 3:00pm close of school activities
  • 3:15pm Last chance to go on an accommodation tour

There will be a 5-minute downhill walk to the department (and back up!); please let us know if you require any assistance with getting around the site.

Bangor has excellent road, rail and ferry links. We are within easy reach of major cities, such as Liverpool, Birmingham and Dublin, with London only 3 hours away. You can find more travel and location information here.
