Swimming and Leisure Centres

If you enjoy swimming or even aqua aerobics there are a number of locations in the area or close to where you live. Opening Times do vary dependent on time of year and school holidays etc, so please contact the centre for further details.

BANGOR SWIMMING POOL

The baths have accessible facilities. The Centre also has a café and viewing area, two 5-a-side Football Pitches and a new Fitness Room.

PLAS ARTHUR LEISURE CENTRE, LLANGEFNI

In addition to a 25m and separate infants pool the Centre has a Fitness Centre and provides a range of fitness classes.

AMLWCH LEISURE CENTRE

The Centre not only provides a 25m pool but also has a newly refurbished gym. A variety of fitness classes are also provided.

HOLYHEAD LEISURE CENTRE
Kingsland, Holyhead, Anglesey, LL65 2YE, Tel: (01407) 764111, Website: Holyhead Swimming Pool

Holyhead has a traditional 25m pool and a small teaching pool for parents with toddlers. The Centre also has a large newly refurbished gym with a range of fitness classes also timetabled.

PLAS MENAI

National Watersports Centre, Caernarfon, Gwynedd, LL55 1UE, Tel: 01248 670964, Website: Plas Menai

The swimming pool at Plas Menai has a busy programme of public sessions and swimming lessons. In addition, the Centre provides a range of water sports activities and has a gym, climbing wall and mountain bike track.

LLANDUDNO SWIMMING CENTRE

The Centre boasts an 8 lane main pool which can be used for various sessions and lessons. It also has a separate training pool for swimming lessons and mother and baby sessions.

WREXHAM WATERWORLD LEISURE AND ACTIVITY CENTRE

The facilities include a 25 metre, 6-lane competition pool, learner and function pools, a 65 metre slide, a relaxing bubble pool and rapids river ride for the more adventurous. In addition there is a Fitness Suite with over 40 pieces of cardiovascular and resistance equipment and a Health Suite complete with a jacuzzi, sauna and steam room.

ABERGELE LEISURE CENTRE

The Centre has lots to offer in the way of facilities including a Main Hall, fitness suite, outdoor pitches and swimming pool.

COLWYN LEISURE CENTRE

Colwyn Leisure Centre has lots to offer in way of facilities including a Main Hall, fitness suite, outdoor pitches, squash court and swimming pool.

LLANDUDNO JUNCTION LEISURE CENTRE

The Centre has no swimming pool but does have an indoor climbing wall, Storm fitness suite, squash courts and a Main Hall in which a range of activities takes place.

BEAUMARIS LEISURE CENTRE

The Centre does not have a swimming pool but does have a gym with a range of fitness classes also scheduled.

DAVID HUGHES LEISURE CENTRE

The Centre does not have a swimming pool but does have a sports hall which is bookable for all sorts of activities. There is also a modern gym and a variety of classes available.
