Undergraduate Courses

The programmes listed below are our Single Honours degree programmes. Many of our programmes offer the choice between BA or BSc. The main difference is that BSc schemes tend to include a weightier quantitative element (e.g. compulsory modules in statistics or probability) and may therefore be better suited to students with a mathematical or scientific background (although this is not a pre-requisite).

In terms of employability, there is no distinct advantage to choosing one scheme over the other, although you may find the BSc more useful if you wish to pursue a career which involves quantitative analysis (e.g. accountancy or taxation).

We also offer a range of Joint Honours degree programmes with our colleagues in other academic disciplines here in Bangor. You can find out more about Joint Honours programmes on offer on our Joint Honours programmes page, and see which modules our joint (and single) honours students may be studying this year on our current modules page.
