Open Days and Visit Days
Whatever stage of the journey you're at, you can visit us at Bangor University.
University Open Days
A University Open Day is a great way for you to get to know us and find out what we have to offer, before you apply. The Open Day is a University-wide event where you can visit our Academic departments, talk to our staff and students, tour our accommodation and view our facilities.
Our Applicant Days are smaller events, which give you the opportunity to ask in-depth questions about you chosen course. If you have applied to study at Bangor, you will be invited to attend a UCAS Applicant Visit Day early in the new year.
We are located in beautiful North Wales, between the Snowdonia mountains and the Menai Straits. Bangor has excellent transport links and is only few hours from major cities, including Liverpool, Manchester and Dublin.
Can’t wait for the Open Day?
If you would like to visit, but are unable to attend any of our Open Days or Visit Days, you can either:
- Contact our Admissions Team and we will do our best to arrange an individual visit for you
- Or, take a look at our Virtual Student Experience for a taste of life as a Bangor student.
