PhD title: Using Active Support to enhance the employability skills in young adults with intellectual disabilities.
Ceridwen Evans graduated from Bangor University with a Master’s in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) in 2016. With an interest in working in the field of ABA, she then began work as an ABA tutor in London; in both home and school settings. It was through this experience that Ceridwen developed a further interest in the behaviour-analytic methods used to teach both academic and daily-living skills, as well increasing future prospects for older children living with intellectual disabilities. With a love for North Wales and a passion to return to evidence-based research, Ceridwen is now studying in Bangor for a KESS2 funded PhD in the use of Active Support to enhance employability skills in young adults with intellectual disabilities.
