PhD Title: Language rehabilitation in Welsh/English bilinguals with brain damage
Josh Payne has been at Bangor University since 2009, where he completed a BSc in Psychology with Child and Language Development and an MSc in Psychology. He will submit his PhD in the Cognitive Neuroscience of Bilingualism in 2018. Josh has collaborated on a number of CIEREI research projects as a statistician and methodologist, including the Rethinking Education and Poverty (REAP) in Rural Wales project. In 2018-19, Josh will head up a project applying a multi-level predictive framework to school attainment data across Wales that takes broader contextual factors into account with the aim of improving the prediction of key stage 4 outcomes for individual pupils when they enter secondary school.
