UCAS Applicant Visit Days
If you are thinking of applying to the School of Psychology at Bangor University but wish to know more before making a final decision why not come and meet us and see what we provide? The open day is your best opportunity to get an idea of what it would be like to live in Bangor and study at one of the highest rated Schools of Psychology in the country.
Download the Open Day Newsletter for timings, directions etc.
All days start at 9.45am and end around 4pm or earlier if you are not visiting the accommodation.Register for a UCAS Applicant Visit Day
Our next Visit Days are:
- Saturday 2 February 2019
- Sunday 17 February 2019
- Saturday 9 March 2019
- Saturday 6 April 2019
We invite all successful applicants to attend one of our School Post-Application Open Days (known as UCAS Applicant Visit Days). To reflect the level of importance we assign to Visit Days and to encourage you to attend, we offer up to £40 towards travel and accommodation expenses to Undergraduate Visit Day participants. You may find that we are just what you are looking for, you may find that we are not (we can’t please everyone!) but either way it will be a day well spent. If you are serious about your future study you really have no excuse not to come! So, hopefully we will see you at one of the above events.
For more information about our Open Days or to book a place, please contact:

University-wide Open Days
Bangor University also runs a series of pre-application open days that are very useful in helping you decide whether you wish to apply to us. Although there is some repetition between the two, we recommend that you attend a School of Psychology Open Day even if you have been to a University-wide one before. You will learn something new!
We are located in beautiful north Wales, between the Snowdonia mountains and the sea. Bangor has excellent transport links and is only few hours from major cities, including Liverpool, Manchester and Dublin. You can find more travel and location information here.
