Shuge Zhange

Name: Shuge Zhange

Course: MSc in Sport and Exercise Psychology

Level of study: BSc, MSc

Story so far

I was an international student from Hong Kong, studying MSc Applied Sport and Exercise Psychology here (2013-2014) in SSHES, Bangor University. Although the one-year MSc programme seems short, it is so enriched, intense, full of challenges and opportunities. This programme is extremely helpful in terms of providing an interest-driven atmosphere, building knowledge foundation, improving research skills, and exploring practical experiences. More importantly, the great staff I met here are the most valuable part of the programme. In addition to great lecturers and peers, I was assigned with one research supervisor and one practical supervisor. They are so willing to help me, share their experience with me, and provide valuable suggestions with full professionalism. They do not simply supervise me, but boost my own thinking of how I can improve my work. All these positives make the programme outstanding and worthy, and it shows a clear path to those who are willing to go further in the field of Sport, Health, and Exercise Science. As a result of my MSc I managed to obtain a PhD scholarship in Hong Kong focussing on children's Physical Activity and Behavioural. Thank you so much again and wish you all the best, Shuge.
We wish Shuge the best of luck in his studies and hope he will return for graduation next summer.
