Overall aims and purpose

Mae'r modiwl hwn yn adeiladu ar y dulliau ymchwilio a dadansoddi data a ddysgwyd yn y flwyddyn gyntaf. Mae’r modiwl yn ymdrin â deall data, priodweddau seicometreg holiaduron a mesurau seicolegol; dibynadwyedd a dilysrwydd; cydberthyniad ac atchweliad a dulliau ansoddol. Mae cynnwys y modiwl hwn yn cwmpasu llawer o sgiliau craidd sydd eu hangen yn unol â chanllawiau BPS ar gyfer gradd achrededig ac yn rhagofyniad ar gyfer y modiwl dulliau ymchwil ac ystadegau 4

Gan fod y modiwl hwn yn canolbwyntio ar uwch dechnegau ystadegol, disgwylir i fyfyrwyr feddu ar TGAU mathemateg a dealltwriaeth ddigonol o'r cysyniadau a astudiwyd yn y modiwl dulliau ymchwil yn y flwyddyn gyntaf.

Mi fydd y modiwl yma yn ymestyn eich sgiliau a hyder wrth fynd i'r afael â dylunio ymchwil a dadansoddi data, ac yn hanfodol er mwyn eich paratoi ar gyfer eich traethawd hir yn y 3edd flwyddyn.

Learning outcomes

  1. Deallt y gwahaniaeth rhwng dulliau ansoddol a menintiol wrth gasglu a dadansoddi’r mathau yma o ddata.

  2. Dangos dealltwriaeth o sail profion seicolegol a sut cânt eu defnyddio a lluniadau cysylltiedig yn cynnwys dibynadwyedd, dilysrwydd a phwêr didoli.

  3. Defnyddio eu gwybodaeth am gysyniadau profion seicolegol i greu a gwerthuso holiadur seicometreg. Dadansoddi eitemau unigol o ran eu dibynadwyedd a’u pwêr didoli.

  4. Dangos y gallu i gyfathrebu ymchwil gwyddonol ar lafar ac ar bapur.

  5. Defnyddio eu gwybodaeth am gysyniadau methodolegol i werthuso a deall materion sy'n ymwneud â chynllunio ymchwil, rhesymeg profi damcaniaethau, casglu a dehongli data.

  6. Defnyddio eu gwybodaeth am ddulliau ymchwil ac ystadegau i ddadansoddi setiau data â llaw ac ar gyfrifiadur (yn cynnwys dewis dadansoddiadau priodol yn seiliedig ar ddamcaniaethau astudiaethau), cynhyrchu graffiau o ddata a dehongli canlyniadau yng nghyd-destun y damcaniaethau.

  7. Dehongli dadansoddiadau ystadegol a dulliau ymchwil trwy lunio cwestiynau ymchwil, dewis/gwneud dadansoddiadau a llunio graffiau o ddata a dehongli canfyddiadau'n seiliedig ar y data a gesglir.

  8. Cymryd rhan mewn ymchwil seicolegol parhaus trwy’r rhaglen SONA, yn ogystal ag aseiniadau gwaith cartref yn gysylltiedig ag arbrofion.

  9. Ymarfer casglu, trawsgrifio a dadansoddi data ansoddol. A sut i ysgrigennu’r data yma i fyny ar gyfer adroddiad ymchwil.
