Overall aims and purpose
Nod y modiwl traethawd hir yw i baratoi myfyrwyr i gynnal prosiect astudio annibynnol llwyddiannus ar bwnc o'i dewis.
Nodau'r modiwl yw: 1. Darparu fframwaith a chanllawiau ar gyfer cynnal astudiaeth annibynnol unigol. 2. Cynorthwyo myfyrwyr i ddatblygu eu sgiliau dadansoddol ac ysgrifenedig. 3. Galluogi myfyrwyr i ddatblygu dealltwriaeth o'r materion methodolegol sy'n gysylltiedig â chynnal darn o ymchwil o fewn y gwyddorau cymdeithasol.
Course content
Mae Traethawd Hir yn ddarn sylweddol o waith, yn cael ei gwblhau yn ystod y 3 flwyddyn. Mae'r traethawd terfynol tua 6,000 o eiriau.
Bydd gofyn i fyfyrwyr datblygu'r adolygiad llenyddiaeth trylwyr ym maes eich astudiaeth, sy'n trafod prif themâu eich testun. Mae'n bosib y byddwch wedi cwblhau rhywfaint o ymchwil gwreiddiol (ond mae hyn yn opsiynol) - er enghraifft, peth gwaith ymchwil meintiol neu ansoddol gwreiddiol y byddwch wedi ei gynnal gyda chymorth a chyfarwyddyd eich goruchwyliwr/aig. Drwy gydol y modiwl, byddwch yn datblygu eich dadansoddiad o'r lenyddiaeth ac unrhyw ddata a gasglwyd, ac yn ysgrifennu eich traethawd.
