  • Geiriadur dwyieithog mawr, megis rhifyn diweddaraf y Collins-Robert neu'r Oxford-Hachette.
  • Geiriadur uniaith mawr, megis rhifyn diweddaraf y Petit Robert.

Rydym yn argymell argraffiad diweddaraf French Grammar and Usage (Hawkins a Towell) neu A Comprehensive French Grammar (Glanville Price). Er ei fod ychydig yn fyrrach na'r ddau lyfr blaenorol, mae A French Reference Grammar (Ferrat) hefyd yn addas ar gyfer y flwyddyn gyntaf.
