Overview

Semester Un: Bydd myfyrwyr yn datblygu eu sgiliau cyfathrebu ysgrifenedig trwy ysgrifennu traethodau (1000-1500 o eiriau) ar bwnc sy’n berthnasol i’w cwrs gradd. Bydd cyfleoedd ar gael i dderbyn adborth ffurfiannol - cyffredinol a phenodol - cyn cyflwyno traethawd crynodol terfynol.

Semester Dau: Bydd myfyrwyr yn datblygu eu sgiliau cyfathrebu llafar drwy roi cyflwyniad byr i amryw o gynulleidfaoedd, gan orffen gyda 'mini-gynhadledd' ar gyfer myfyrwyr o fewn rhaglenni gradd penodol.

Semester Un & Dau: Bydd myfyrwyr yn mynychu darlithoedd 'Gwyddoniaeth Boblogaidd' a roddwyd gan aelodau o'r staff academaidd. Mae'r rhain yn darparu enghreifftiau a chyfleoedd ar gyfer adfyfyrio ar y sgiliau sydd eu hangen i gyfathrebu gwyddoniaeth cymhleth, yn ogystal â rhoi cyfle fyfyrwyr i ddechrau nodi a datblygu eu diddordebau mewn agweddau penodol o'u pwnc. Bydd hyn hefyd yn caniatáu datblygu sgiliau cymryd nodiadau a nodi pwyntiau allweddol mewn darlithoedd.

ardderchog -A- i A+: Bydd myfyriwr rhagorol yn dangos dealltwriaeth ehangach o oblygiadau'r cwestiwn y tu hwnt i'r amlwg, dealltwriaeth dda o ddatblygiadau diweddaraf y maes pwnc (gan gynnwys ei gyfyngiadau) a gallu beirniadol datblygedig. Bydd y cyfathrebu yn rhugl ac yn groyw, gyda'r gallu i ennyn diddordeb y gynulleidfa. Bydd cyfeiriadau/ffynonellau yn hynod briodol, yn wyddonol, wedi'u gwerthuso'n dda ac yn cael eu hymchwilio'n helaeth.

-good -B- i B+: Bydd myfyriwr da yn cynhyrchu dadl rymus wedi'i strwythuro'n dda gan ddangos dealltwriaeth dda o'r wybodaeth y gofynnir amdani a gwybodaeth am y pwnc dan sylw. Bydd y cyfathrebu'n gydlynol ac yn cyfateb i'r gynulleidfa arfaethedig. Bydd cyfeiriadau/ffynonellau yn briodol, yn wyddonol ac yn cael eu gwerthuso'n dda.

  • digonol o C- i C+: Bydd myfyriwr sy'n cyflawni graddau lefel C yn dangos dealltwriaeth resymol o'r wybodaeth y gofynnwyd amdani a pheth gwybodaeth o'r pwnc er gyda rhai diffygion o ran manylder a chywirdeb syniadau. Gwneir ymdrech resymol i gyfleu syniadau, gyda pheth tystiolaeth o ystyriaeth o'r gynulleidfa arfaethedig. Bydd cyfeiriadau/ffynonellau yn briodol er y gallant fod yn gyfyngedig.

-trothwy -D- i D+: Bydd myfyriwr trothwy yn dangos gallu sylfaenol i ateb cwestiynau gyda gwybodaeth berthnasol, gyda rhywfaint o drefniadaeth o feddyliau a dealltwriaeth o'r pwnc dan sylw. Mae'n bosibl y bydd rhai camddealltwriaeth yn amlwg mewn cyfathrebu ond bydd yn dangos dealltwriaeth sylfaenol o'r egwyddorion. Defnyddir cyfeiriadau ond gallant fod yn gyfyngedig neu gallant ddibynnu ar ffynonellau llai priodol.
