Overview

Bydd y prosiect ymchwil MBiol/Sŵoleg yn galluogi myfyrwyr i ddatblygu eu sgiliau gwyddonol i lefel uchel a bydd yn galluogi myfyrwyr i gynllunio, gweithredu a dadansoddi ymchwil seiliedig ar ddamcaniaeth yn eu dewis faes ymchwil. Yn ystod rhan gyntaf y cwrs, mae'n rhaid i fyfyrwyr gynllunio'r prosiect ymchwil ar y cyd â'r goruchwyliwr. Disgwylir i’r cynllun ymchwil ysgrifenedig gwmpasu (i) y rhesymeg sylfaenol, (ii) amcanion penodol y prosiect, (iii) methodoleg a dull gweithredu, (iv) rheoli’r prosiect ac adnoddau, (v) rhaglen ymchwil a (vi) cyfiawnhad o adnoddau. Tua diwedd y semester cyntaf, disgwylir i fyfyrwyr wneud cyflwyniad llafar o gynnydd y prosiect i egluro cefndir a rhesymeg, methodoleg gyffredinol a damcaniaethau a chanlyniadau disgwyliedig y prosiect. Ar gyfer y traethawd hir, yn gyffredinol byddai casglu data yn y maes neu yn y labordy neu drwy ddulliau silico yn cael ei wneud rhwng mis Hydref a mis Mawrth. Yn gyffredinol, dilynir y gwaith arbrofol gan ddau fis o ddadansoddi data ac ysgrifennu. Cyflwynir y canlyniadau terfynol ar ffurf traethawd hir ysgrifenedig, a ddylai ddilyn fformat cyhoeddiad ymchwil, a chyflwyniad terfynol y gynhadledd ymchwil (ar ffurf poster).

Assessment Strategy

-trothwy - C Dylai fod gan fyfyriwr trothwy wybodaeth sylfaenol o'r ffeithiau hanfodol a'r cysyniadau allweddol yn y maes ymchwil a ddewiswyd. Dylai’r cynnig ymchwil, y cyflwyniad llafar, poster cynhadledd a llythyr ymateb i sylwadau ddangos gallu i ddadansoddi’r llenyddiaeth, i gynllunio, cynnal a dadansoddi’r ymchwil i’w chyflwyno’n ddadl gydlynol -good -B Dylai fod gan fyfyriwr da wybodaeth ffeithiol drylwyr o bob agwedd ar draws y prosiect a sut mae'n berthnasol i'r maes ymchwil a ddewiswyd. Dylai'r cyflwyniad llafar, poster a llythyr ymateb i sylwadau ddangos gallu i feddwl yn feirniadol am y pwnc ac i gysylltu'r ymchwil a wnaed â'r maes pwnc ehangach. -rhagorol -A Dylai fod gan fyfyriwr rhagorol wybodaeth fanwl a chysyniadol o'r pwnc a'r gallu i ddylunio ac ysgrifennu ymchwil sy'n wreiddiol iawn i'r maes astudio a ddewiswyd. Dylai'r cyflwyniad llafar, poster a llythyr ymateb i sylwadau ddangos gallu nid yn unig i feddwl yn feirniadol am y pwnc ond hefyd ddealltwriaeth drylwyr o newydd-deb yr ymchwil a wnaed. Dylai'r traethawd hir cyfan neu ei rannau fod ar lefel y llawysgrifau gwyddonol gwreiddiol cyhoeddadwy sy'n barod i'w cyflwyno i gyfnodolyn a adolygir gan gymheiriaid ar ôl rhai addasiadau.
