Overview

Mae astudio'r gwyddorau naturiol yn gofyn am set o offer amrywiol o sgiliau maes, labordy a dadansoddi data, a nod y modiwl 30 credyd hwn yw rhoi cyflwyniad eang i fyfyrwyr i'r rhain mewn fframwaith sy'n berthnasol i radd. Bydd myfyrwyr yn dysgu datblygu damcaniaethau a chasglu, cofnodi a chyflwyno data.

Bydd myfyrwyr yn cymryd rhan mewn nifer o sesiynau ymarferol labordy a theithiau maes i ddatblygu eu set sgiliau ymarferol. Byddant yn datblygu sgiliau dadansoddi data trwy weithdai a bydd darlithoedd yn cefnogi datblygiad sgiliau ymhellach. O fewn y fframwaith hwn, bydd myfyrwyr yn dysgu datblygu damcaniaethau a chasglu, cofnodi a chyflwyno data.

Assessment Strategy

trothwy (Gradd D neu C; ystod marciau 40-59%) -Dylai myfyriwr trothwy feddu ar wybodaeth sylfaenol am hanfodion llunio damcaniaeth, casglu data yn y labordy a'r maes, a dulliau dadansoddi priodol a gyflwynir yn y modiwl. Dylai gwaith ysgrifenedig ac ymarferol ddangos gallu sylfaenol i syntheseiddio a dehongli data o ddarlithoedd, darlleniadau, ac ymarferion mewn modd strwythuredig a rhesymegol, a dylai pob asesiad ddangos y gallu cyffredinol i drefnu'r wybodaeth a ddysgwyd.

-da (Gradd B; ystod marciau 60-69%) -Dylai myfyriwr da feddu ar, a dangos, gwybodaeth ffeithiol drylwyr a sgiliau perthnasol ar draws pob agwedd ar y modiwl a gallu dyfynnu enghreifftiau ac astudiaethau achos lle bo'n briodol. Dylai gwaith ysgrifenedig ac ymarferol ddangos gallu i fynd i'r afael â'r pwnc yn briodol a chyfuno deunydd darlithoedd a pheth gwybodaeth o ddarllen cefndirol yn ddadleuon cydlynol.

-Dylai myfyriwr rhagorol feddu ar lefel uchel o wybodaeth ymarferol a ffeithiol fanwl ar draws pob agwedd ar y modiwl a gallu gweithredu'r dull gwyddonol fel y mae'n ymwneud â llunio damcaniaethau, casglu data, a dadansoddi, gan ddefnyddio enghreifftiau ac astudiaethau achos lle bo'n briodol. Dylai gwaith ysgrifenedig ac ymarferol ddangos gallu i feddwl yn feirniadol am y pwnc ac i integreiddio a syntheseiddio deunydd ymarferol a darlith, yn y drefn honno. Dylid dangos tystiolaeth o bob gwaith ysgrifenedig gyda darllen cefndirol i gefnogi dadleuon manwl, datblygedig.

  • Gwneud dewis sampl; cofnodi a dadansoddi data yn y maes a/neu'r labordy; sicrhau dilysrwydd, cywirdeb, graddnodi, manwl gywirdeb, atgynhyrchadwyedd a thynnu sylw at ansicrwydd a thuedd bosibl wrth gasglu
