Overall aims and purpose
Mae'r modiwl hwn wedi'i gynllunio i helpu myfyrwyr i weithio fel ymarferwyr proffesiynol addysg gorfforol a hyfforddi chwaraeon; a chymhwyso eu gwybodaeth am wyddor chwaraeon i'r galwedigaethau hyn.
Course content
Bydd y modiwl yn rhoi cyfle i fyfyrwyr ddatblygu a mireinio sgiliau uwch sy'n berthnasol i'r cyd-destun hwn (e.e., ymwybyddiaeth o arddulliau dysgu, cymhwyso sgiliau seicolegol a llenyddiaethau dysgu modur). Yn hynny o beth, bydd myfyrwyr yn datblygu technegau (e.e., ymarfer myfyriol, proffilio perfformiad) i'w helpu i barhau i wella eu sgiliau a datblygu eu gyrfa ar ôl graddio. Bydd myfyrwyr hefyd yn dysgu sut i hwyluso caffael sgiliau eraill. Er mwyn rhoi profiad a lleoliad ystyrlon i fyfyrwyr ddatblygu sgiliau a thechnegau o’r fath, bydd astudio a datblygu myfyrwyr yn cael eu cartrefu yng nghyd-destun dilyniant tuag at (neu ennill mewn gwirionedd) gwobrau Corff Llywodraethol Cenedlaethol mewn addysg gorfforol.

Upon completion of this module, students will: 2. Plan, initiate, record, and critically evaluate an appropriate and tailored programme of personal development based on an evaluation of strengths and areas for improvement specific to a Physical Education career path

Upon completion of this module, students will: 5. Demonstrate effective and reflective practice and critical self –awareness during work placement e.g. observe and reflect upon examples of good practice and evaluate your own lesson/coaching session.

Upon completion of this module, students will: 3. Acquire the required number of coaching qualifications (coaching qualification must meet with assessment of needs and cannot be back dated)

Upon completion of this module, students will: 4. Complete at least 10 hours (minimum)as a coach/volunteer in either local community clubs, schools (in support of local AYP programme) or in support of organisations such as the Urdd, Youth Organisations e.g. Guides/Scouts/Youth Clubs etc.

Upon completion of this module, students will: 1. Successfully acquiring a work placement at a Secondary Schools Physical Education department following the completion of a formal letter and CV (minimum one week 5 days work placement)
