Overall aims and purpose
Mae'r modiwl hwn yn dwyn ynghyd yr holl sgiliau a'r profiadau y mae'r myfyrwyr wedi eu meithrin yn ystod Blwyddyn 1, 2 a'r Flwyddyn Dramor sy'n berthnasol o ran astudio Ieithoedd a Diwylliannau Modern. O gwblhau traethawd hir yn llwyddiannus mae'r myfyrwyr yn cael cyfle i weithio ar brosiect ymchwil fel rhan o'r cwrs gradd ar bwnc sy'n ymwneud â chymdeithas, hanes, llenyddiaeth a diwylliant y wlad berthnasol nad yw eisoes yn rhan benodol o'r maes llafur. Dylid penderfynu ar y pwnc mewn trafodaeth â'r Goruchwyliwr. Bwriad y modiwl hwn yw bod yn sylfaen i'r math o ysgrifennu sy'n ofynnol ar lefel ôl-raddedig.
Bydd y modiwl hwn yn galluogi’r myfyriwr 1. I gasglu rhestr o ffynonellau perthnasol ar gyfer y pwnc a ddewiswyd ganddynt 2. I gasglu deunydd ymchwil eilaidd perthnasol ar gyfer y pwnc a ddewiswyd ganddynt. 3. I gasglu deunydd ymchwil gwreiddiol perthnasol ar gyfer y pwnc a ddewiswyd ganddynt. 4. I archwilio a dadansoddi eu deunydd ffynhonnell mewn perthynas â chwestiynau ymchwil perthnasol. 5. I lunio cynllun penodau cydlynol ar gyfer eu traethawd hir. 6. I ysgrifennu adroddiad llwyddiannus mewn dull academaidd fydd yn egluro’r prosiect a’i ganlyniadau.
Course content
Bydd y traethawd hir yn gosod y pwnc ymchwil a ddewiswyd o fewn fframwaith cyd-destunol ehangach. Bydd yn gosod cwestiynau ymchwil ac yn dylunio strwythur. Bydd yn disgrifio ac yn dadansoddi’r pwnc a ddewiswyd gan ddefnyddio ystod o dystiolaeth wreiddiol ac eilaidd berthnasol. Ysgrifennir adroddiad ar y prosiect mewn dull trefnus ac academaidd. Darperir crynodeb dadansoddol yn yr iaith darged.
