Overall aims and purpose
Amcan y modiwl hwn yw cyflwyno micro-organebau Prokaryotig ac Eukaryotig i’r myfyriwr.Astudir nodweddion a strwythurau gwahaniaethol celloedd microbaidd, ynghyd â deinameg twf microbaidd, cyflwyniad i fecanweithiau gwrthsefyll gwrthfiotigau, pathogenesis ac ymwneud microbaidd ag afiechydon dynol. I ddilyn ceir adran ar fycoleg lle'r adolygir cylchoedd bywyd ffyngau a'u heffaith ar fywyd bob dydd, yn gadarnhaol a negyddol. Yna ystyrir amrywiaeth firysau, yn cynnwys firysau pwysig yn feddygol, o safbwynt eu morffoleg, math genom a strategaethau tyfu.
