Overall aims and purpose

Nod y modiwl hwn yw gosod arferion creadigol y myfyrwyr eu hunain o fewn cyd-destun cyfansoddi cyfoes ar draws ystod o genres ac arddulliau. Drwy astudio gwaith cyfansoddwyr sydd wedi ennill eu plwyf, bydd y myfyrwyr yn cael golwg dechnegol, ddamcaniaethol, esthetig ac athronyddol a fydd o gymorth iddynt lywio ac arwain eu hymarfer eu hunain.

Mae rhan o'r modiwl yn mynd i'r afael â materion sy'n uniongyrchol berthnasol i gyfansoddi mewn un o dri chyd-destun: cyfansoddi ar gyfer offerynnau a lleisiau; cerddoriaeth ar gyfer ffilmiau a gemau; cerddoriaeth electroacwstig a chelfyddyd sonig. Mae'r rhan arall yn cynnwys pob cyfansoddwr gyda'i gilydd, gan drafod materion sy'n berthnasol i bob math o gyfansoddi gan ddysgu oddi wrth arbenigeddau a diddordebau ein gilydd.

Course content

Bydd y seminarau yn canolbwyntio ar faes penodol o gyfansoddi (offerynnol a lleisiol; ffilm a gemau; electroacwstig a chelfyddyd sonig). Bydd y myfyrwyr yn ystyried ystyriaethau damcaniaethol a thechnegol sy'n codi mewn gweithiau penodol o gyfansoddi cyfoes, ac mewn astudiaethau beirniadol perthnasol ohonynt.

Bydd myfyrwyr a staff hefyd yn cyfarfod fel un grŵp mawr gan gyfuno pob maes cyfansoddi a chael clywed cyflwyniadau gan staff, myfyrwyr a darlithwyr gwadd mewn meysydd sy'n berthnasol i bob ffurf o gyfansoddi. Byddant yn ystyried ac yn trafod ym mha ffyrdd y gellir cymhwyso'r ddirnadaeth a gafwyd wrth ystyried un genre o gyfansoddi i genres eraill.

O ran gwaith creadigol: Rhagorol Gwaith sy’n dangos hyder a sicrwydd safon uwch o arddulliad, ffurfiau a thechnegau cerddorol cyfoes, ystod nodedig o adnoddau technegol a meddwl creadigol ar lefel uchel, ac ymwybyddiaeth ddatblygedig o sut i ysgrifennu ar gyfer offerynnau cerdd, lleisiau neu gyfryngau eraill.

O ran gwaith sy’n seiliedig ar draethodau: Rhagorol Gwaith sy’n dangos dealltwriaeth drylwyr o’r pwnc, gyda thystiolaeth o astudiaeth ychwanegol, meddwl yn fwy trylwyr, ymdriniaeth wreiddiol a medrau ysgrifennu rhagorol.

O ran gwaith creadigol: Da Gwaith sy’n dangos hyder a sicrwydd wrth ymdrin ag arddull, ffurf a thechneg, a lefel nodedig o addewid a gwreiddioldeb creadigol, a dealltwriaeth sicr o offerynnau cerdd, lleisiau neu gyfryngau eraill, ac o sut i ysgrifennu ar eu cyfer.

O ran gwaith sy’n seiliedig ar draethodau: Da Dylai’r gwaith ddangos dealltwriaeth gadarn o’r pwnc, lefel dda o feddwl cysyniadol, ymwybyddiaeth o’r prif faterion o bwys, gyda thystiolaeth o graffter deallusol a mynegiant da.

O ran gwaith sy’n seiliedig ar draethodau: Trothwy Gwaith sy’n dangos gwybodaeth sylfaenol, gyfyngedig o’r pwnc, gyda gallu syml i feddwl yn gysyniadol, ac ymwybyddiaeth gyfyngedig o faterion perthnasol, ond rhywfaint o dystiolaeth o ymdriniaeth gyffredinol ddeallusol, gyda mynegiant gweddol.

Learning outcomes

  1. ennill mwy o ddealltwriaeth a gwerthfawrogiad o amrywiaeth o theorïau, cyd-destunau a chysyniadau sy’n gysylltiedig â chyfansoddi cyfoes;

  2. Meithrin dealltwriaeth dda o sylfaeni damcaniaethol (estheteg, athronyddol a thechnegol) genre cyfansoddi penodol.;

  3. meithrin hyfedredd mewn amryw o dechnegau cyfansoddi;

  4. dechrau gweithio tuag at feithrin iaith ac idiom sy’n berthnasol, o safbwynt artistig, i’r gymdeithas sydd ohoni;

  5. gosod eu gwaith creadigol eu hunain yng nghyd-destun gwaith cyfansoddwyr eraill;

  6. ennill gwell medrau cyflwyno llafar.
