Module WXC-2177:
Ast. Ensemble II

Astudiaeth Ensemble II 2024-25
WXC-2177
2024-25
School of Arts, Culture And Language
Module - Semester 1
20 credits
Module Organiser: Iwan Llewelyn Jones
Overview

Yn Astudiaethau Ensemble II, bydd y myfyrwyr yn ehangu ar y sgiliau perfformio y buont yn eu dysgu yn Astudiaethau Ensemble I. Bydd y myfyrwyr yn ystyried cwestiynau ehangach sy’n ymwneud â pherfformio ensemble gan gynnwys dewis repertoire, strategaethau ymarfer effeithiol, ac arferion perfformio hanesyddol sy'n berthnasol i'r repertoire o’u dewis. Mae’r asesu’n ystyried cyfraniad unigol pob perfformiwr yn y grŵp, yn ogystal â pherfformiad yr ensemble ar y cyd, gan gynnwys sut mae pob aelod o’r grŵp yn mynd i’r afael â heriau cydweithio a chyfathrebu trwy astudio adfyfyriol.

Trwy gyfrwng gweithdai perfformio strwythuredig a thywysedig, mae’r myfyrwyr yn gweithio mewn grwpiau bach ac yn cael awgrymiadau ar gyfer perfformio darn neu fyrfyfyrio. Caiff y gerddoriaeth a greir ei pherfformio o flaen y dosbarth cyfan, a rhoddir adborth ar lafar. Mae’r gweithdai’n cynnwys trafodaethau ynglŷn â chysyniadau perfformio ensemble, a fydd yn arwain at brofiad ymarferol ac arbrofi: caiff dulliau amrywiol o berfformio grŵp a byrfyfyrio eu hesbonio a’u dangos. Darperir ymarferion ychwanegol o dan oruchwyliaeth gyda thiwtor dynodedig. Mae'r tiwtor yn monitro’r cynnydd ac yn helpu gydag adborth, awgrymiadau ac anogaeth. Gall y myfyrwyr gymhwyso'r adborth at eu hymarfer beunyddiol mewn ymarferion grŵp heb oruchwyliaeth ac astudio personol.

Assessment Strategy

Trothwy: D– i D+: Perfformiadau sy'n dangos cerddoriaeth a thechneg ddigonol, a chyfraniad digonol i aelodau eraill o'r ensemble a rhyngweithio â nhw. Da: C– i B+: Perfformiadau perswadiol, sy'n dangos lefelau da o allu mewn cerddoroldeb a thechneg, gyda chyfraniad effeithiol a rhyngweithio effeithiol ag aelodau eraill yr ensemble. Ardderchog: A- i A**: Perfformiadau sy'n gymhellol ac yn argyhoeddiadol, yn arddangos lefelau uchel o allu cerddorol a thechnegol, ac sy'n dangos cyfraniad cryf iawn (ond heb fod yn ormesol) i aelodau eraill o'r ensemble a rhyngweithio â nhw.

Learning Outcomes

  • Ar ôl cwblhau’r modiwl yn llwyddiannus, bydd y myfyrwyr yn gallu: Adfyfyrio ar eu profiadau hwythau o berfformio ensemble trwy sgiliau llafar ac ysgrifenedig effeithiol.
