Overall aims and purpose

Astudiaeth annibynnol yw modiwl y traethawd hir ar bwnc o ddewis y myfyriwr, a gytunir gyda'r tiwtor astudio yn ystod Blwyddyn 2 ar sail maes diddordeb academaidd sy'n ymwneud â phlant a phobl ifanc. Mae’n rhoi cyfle i fyfyrwyr gynllunio a chynnal astudiaeth ymchwil ar raddfa fach a derbyn adborth diagnostig rheolaidd gan y tiwtor. Bydd myfyrwyr yn canolbwyntio ar ymchwil drwyadl i’r maes a ddewisir, gan gynnwys adolygu’r llenyddiaeth, gwneud tasgau ymchwil, casglu data ansoddol ac/neu feintiol, defnyddio sgiliau dadansoddi a chyfuno mewn ffordd briodol a chyflwyno dadl argyhoeddiadol wedi ei strwythuro'n dda.

Course content

Mae’r modiwl yn adeiladu ar gynnwys Modiwl XAC 2033 ac fe'i cynlluniwyd er mwyn caniatáu i fyfyrwyr lunio traethawd hir sylweddol yn annibynnol. Mae’r myfyrwyr yn dewis eu maes astudio yn unol â’u diddordebau a’u profiadau eu hunain ym maes plant a phobl ifanc. Mae tiwtoriaid goruchwylio’n rhoi cefnogaeth i drafod meysydd ymchwil priodol, cyfeiriad a strwythur yr astudiaeth, a natur a dyfnder y gwaith. Bydd myfyrwyr yn derbyn adborth diagnostig yn rheolaidd wrth iddynt gyflwyno penodau drafft.
