Overall aims and purpose

Mae'r modiwl hwn yn rhoi cyfle i fyfyrwyr ddechrau datblygu'r sgiliau, yr wybodaeth a'r ddealltwriaeth sydd eu hangen i fod yn ddylunydd ac yn ymarferydd proffesiynol drwy dasgau dylunio a gweithgynhyrchu â ffocws byr. Bydd y myfyriwr yn creu dogfennau sgiliau CV proffesiynol.

Mae'r modiwl yn galluogi myfyrwyr i ddechrau datblygu meddylfryd creadigol a datblygu'r sgiliau sydd eu hangen i gyfleu eu syniadau'n effeithiol mewn 2D drwy dechnegau braslunio a chyfathrebu graffigol.

Mae'r modiwl yn galluogi myfyrwyr i ddechrau datblygu eu sgiliau prototeipio a gweithgynhyrchu 3D drwy ddefnyddio stiwdio prototeipio masnachol a pheiriannau gweithdy. Trwy weithgareddau gweithdy bydd myfyrwyr yn datblygu eu gwybodaeth am arferion Iechyd a Diogelwch ac eiddo materol.

Mae hefyd yn dechrau datblygu gwybodaeth a chymwyseddau myfyrwyr wrth ddefnyddio Dylunio Drwy Gymorth Cyfrifiadur, argraffu 3D a defnyddio meddalwedd graffig digidol (Adobe Photoshop, Darlunydd ac InDesign).

Course content

Modiwl 8 wythnos yw hwn. Bydd lluniadu a chyfathrebu syniadau yn weledol yn cael ei addysgu drwy weithgareddau â ffocws yn ogystal â heriau dylunio byr. Bydd heriau dylunio yn gofyn am gyfuniad o prototeipio 2D a 3D i ddychmygu a chyfleu syniadau.

Bydd sesiwn gweithdy wythnosol yn darparu hyfforddiant gweithredu Iechyd a Diogelwch a pheiriant drwy dasgau sefydlu a gweithgynhyrchu.

Bydd Dylunio Drwy Gymorth Cyfrifiadur a Graffeg Ddigidol yn cael eu haddysgu drwy raglen diwtorial wythnosol o sgiliau penodol gydag estyniad a thasg annibynnol i'w chwblhau.

Bydd myfyrwyr yn cynhyrchu portffolio o dystiolaeth a dogfen ar ffurf CV sy'n wynebu tuag allan i'w hasesu gan staff y coleg

Learning outcomes

  1. Datblygu a deall elfennau dylunio a gallu cyfathrebu mewn 2D gan ddefnyddio technegau graffigol addas.

  2. Gallu defnyddio meddalwedd Dylunio Drwy Gymorth Cyfrifiadur i ddylunio a chyfleu syniadau dylunio, yn ogystal â defnyddio'r argraffydd 3D i weithgynhyrchu prototeipiau.

  3. Deall cyfrifoldebau Iechyd a Diogelwch (H&S) a gweithredu arferion gwaith diogel mewn gweithdy masnachol wrth ddefnyddio peiriannau i prototeipio a chynhyrchu cynhyrchion.

  4. Dechrau deall disgwyliadau proffesiynol y diwydiant o ran ymddygiad, safon gwaith ac ansawdd cyfathrebu.

  5. Gallu defnyddio meddalwedd graffig masnachol (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign) i ddatblygu a chyfleu bwriad a syniadau dylunio.

  6. Gallu prototeipio syniadau dylunio ar ffurf 3D i gefnogi syniadau a chyfleu bwriad i eraill.

Subject specific skills

  • Apply convergent and divergent thinking in the processes of observation, investigation, speculative enquiry, visualisation and/or making for problem solving and generating well-informed critical viewpoints

  • Relate the manipulation of materials to the process of identifying design needs, researching and generating ideas as prototypes, models or proposals to promote intellectual and practical learning.

  • Apply specialised ICT hardware and software related to Product Design and Technology effectively, including desktop publishing, web based media, computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing systems (CAD/CAM).
