Overall aims and purpose

Mae profiad yn y gweithle yn ganolog i'r cwrs, mae'n caniatáu i fyfyrwyr gael profiad o weithio fel dylunydd mewn amgylchedd masnachol. Mae'r ail fodiwl hwn yn y gyfres yn adeiladu ar fodiwl lleoliad gwaith Blwyddyn 1 trwy ganolbwyntio sylw ar gynyddu cwmpas a chymhlethdod y modelau damcaniaethol a ddefnyddir yn ystod y dadansoddiad.

Nod y modiwl hwn:

  1. Codi dealltwriaeth myfyrwyr o arweinyddiaeth, rheolaeth, gwneud penderfyniadau, strategaeth ac ethos mewn busnes.
  2. Codi gallu myfyrwyr i ddadansoddi a gwerthuso effeithiolrwydd cwmnïau a masnach.
  3. Codi ymwybyddiaeth myfyrwyr o rôl a phwysigrwydd dylunio mewn busnes.
  4. Codi ymwybyddiaeth myfyrwyr o rai o'r materion allweddol sy'n dylanwadu ar ddylunio a gweithgynhyrchu cynhyrchion.
  5. Rhoi profiad i fyfyrwyr o'r ffordd y mae ystyriaethau ymarferol yn cyfyngu neu'n ategu cymhwysiad theori yn y gweithle.
  6. Rhoi profiadau gwerthfawr 'byd go iawn' i fyfyrwyr a fydd yn cyfrannu'n gadarnhaol at eu portffolio a'u CVs.

Mae'r gweithle yn agwedd allweddol ar y cwrs ac mae'n rhoi cyfle i fyfyrwyr weithio gyda chwmnïau a phartneriaid diwydiannol i gael profiadau ymarferol gwerthfawr. Mae myfyrwyr fel arfer yn mynd at y gyfres hon o fodiwlau lleoliad gwaith (un yn y flwyddyn gyntaf, un yn yr ail ac un yn y drydedd blwyddyn) gyda'r strategaethau canlynol:

  • casglu ystod eang o brofiadau trwy ganolbwyntio ar gaffael sgiliau - er enghraifft, lleoliadau mewn stiwdios dylunio, gweithgynhyrchu ar raddfa fach neu fawr cwmnïau, cwmnïau arbenigol CAD neu graffig, neu
  • targedu cwmnïau penodol lle hoffai'r myfyriwr weithio yn y dyfodol.

Yn ystod y lleoliad 6 wythnos, disgwylir i fyfyrwyr lunio adroddiad am agweddau penodol a arsylwyd arnynt a chysylltu eu dadansoddiad â'u datblygiad proffesiynol eu hunain.

Course content

Ym Mlwyddyn 2, mae chwe wythnos o amser lleoliad, a drefnir yn nodweddiadol fel bloc sengl yn Semester 2. Er mwyn cyflawni'r canlyniadau dysgu, bydd myfyrwyr yn cael eu tywys wrth eu paratoi gan diwtoriaid prifysgol, gyda chefnogaeth mentoriaid ymroddedig (hyfforddwr) yn y gweithle a'u monitro gan diwtoriaid prifysgol sy'n ymweld. Yn ogystal â ffocws yr astudiaeth yn y gweithle cyntaf (gweler XUC | E1048) bydd yn archwilio materion pellach sy'n dylanwadu ar ddylunio a gweithgynhyrchu cynnyrch, megis:

  1. ethos, gweledigaeth, cenhadaeth a gwerthoedd cwmni
  2. arweinyddiaeth a rheolaeth
  3. tueddiadau marchnata, gwleidyddol a defnyddwyr
  4. rheoli ansawdd a chynaliadwyedd
  5. sgiliau dadansoddi
  6. hunanwerthuso gwaith a chyfraniad i'r cwmni
  7. hunanwerthuso datblygiad a sgiliau personol
