Module BSC-1031:
Sgiliau Ymarferol 2

Sgiliau Ymarferol 2 2022-23
BSC-1031
2022-23
School Of Natural Sciences
Module - Semester 2
20 credits
Module Organiser: Stella Farrar
Overview

Bydd 3 sesiwn ymarferol labordy (ar amrywiaeth o bynciau) ac un daith maes. Mae'r rhain wedi'u cynllunio i gyflwyno myfyrwyr i amrywiaeth o organebau, technegau labordy, a dadansoddiadau ystadegol. Bydd hefyd 8 darlith/gweithdy a sesiynau cymorth dewisol. Bydd myfyrwyr yn datblygu ystod o sgiliau ymarferol, a chânt eu cyflwyno i brofion ystadegol, gan gynnwys profion t ac ANOVA, ar gyfer dadansoddi eu canlyniadau.

Assessment Strategy

trothwy - Byddai gan fyfyriwr trothwy (D- i D+) wybodaeth sylfaenol am sut i ganfod, defnyddio a chyflwyno gwybodaeth wyddonol. Byddent yn gallu gwneud gwaith ymarferol yn ddiogel, a dangos lefel gymedrol o gymhwysedd mewn sgiliau ymarferol a throsglwyddadwy sy'n berthnasol i'r biowyddorau.

-good -Byddai gan fyfyriwr da (B- i B+) feistrolaeth dda ar sut i ganfod, defnyddio a chyflwyno gwybodaeth wyddonol. Byddent yn gallu gwneud gwaith ymarferol yn ddiogel ac yn gywir, a dangos lefel uchel o gymhwysedd mewn sgiliau ymarferol a throsglwyddadwy sy'n berthnasol i'r biowyddorau.

-rhagorol -Byddai gan fyfyriwr rhagorol (A- i A*) afael ardderchog ar sut i ddarganfod, defnyddio, gwerthuso'n feirniadol a chyflwyno gwybodaeth wyddonol. Byddent yn gallu gwneud gwaith ymarferol yn ddiogel ac yn gywir, a dangos lefelau uchel o sgiliau ymarferol a throsglwyddadwy sy'n berthnasol i'r biowyddorau.

-byddai gan fyfyriwr gradd C lefel-A arall (sgorio C- i C+) wybodaeth resymol am sut i ddod o hyd i, defnyddio a chyflwyno gwybodaeth wyddonol. Byddent yn gallu gwneud gwaith ymarferol yn ddiogel ac yn ddibynadwy, a dangos cymhwysedd mewn sgiliau ymarferol a throsglwyddadwy sy'n berthnasol i'r biowyddorau

Learning Outcomes

  • Cadw cofnodion cywir, ac ysgrifennu adroddiadau gwyddonol cydlynol, wedi'u strwythuro'n dda, gyda llenyddiaeth a rhestrau cyfeirio wedi'u dyfynnu'n briodol.

  • Cynllunio a chyhnnal arbrofion gyda rheolyddion gwyddonol llym.

  • Deall amrywiaeth o ddulliau ystadegol ar gyfer dadansoddi gwahanol fathau o ddata gwyddonol, a dewis a chymhwyso dadansoddiad ystadegol priodol i set ddata.

  • Deall cysyniadau a chaffael gwybodaeth yn y biowyddorau, yn ymwneud ag enghreifftiau a gwmpesir mewn dosbarthiadau.

  • Defnyddio offer labordy sylfaenol yn fedrus (fel sbectroffomedrau, baddonau dŵr, cymysgydd fortecs a centrifuge) a dilyn arferion labordy diogel.

  • Perfformio cyfrifiadau mathemategol gwyddonol syml sy'n ymwneud â moledd, unedau SI, crynodiadau a gwanediadau, a datrys problemau rhifiadol sy'n gysylltiedig â phrosesau biolegol. Lluniwch gromlin graddnodiad.
