Overview

Dysgir y modiwl mewn grwpiau bach, a hynny'n galluogi (a) darllen a thrafod testunau enghreifftiol; (b) ysgrifennu cyfres o dasgau penodol, a derbyn adborth manwl arnynt; (c) derbyn hyfforddiant ar lunio ac ysgrifennu traethawd academaidd. Gall union gynnwys y maes llafur gael ei deilwra at ofynion y myfyrwyr.

Taught in small groups, the course will enable (a) reading and discussion of exemplary texts; (b) writing a series of specifically tailored tasks, and receiving detailed feedback; (c) instruction and practice in academic writing, including apparatus such as footnotes, bibliography. Specific syllabus content may be adjusted depending on student requirements.

Assessment Strategy

Byddant yn arddangos gafael ar gystrawen a theithi'r Gymraeg, a gallu i fynegi barn bersonol ar amryw bynciau. Byddant yn deall hanfodion golygu a chywiro testunau ysgrifenedig.

-good -B- i B+ Bydd myfyrwyr sydd yn cyrraedd y lefel hon (60%) yn arddangos yn eu gwaith ysgrifenedig a llafar ddealltwriaeth dda iawn o'r agweddau gramadegol a thechnegol perthnasol. Byddant yn arddangos gafael gadarn ar gystrawen a theithi'r Gymraeg, a gallu da i fynegi barn bersonol yn hyderus a chywir ar amryw bynciau. Byddant yn medru golygu a chywiro testunau ysgrifenedig i safon uchel.

-excellent -A- i A* Bydd myfyrwyr sydd yn cyrraedd y lefel yma (70%) yn arddangos yn eu gwaith ysgrifenedig a llafar ddealltwriaeth ardderchog o'r agweddau gramadegol a thechnegol perthnasol. Byddant yn arddangos gafael sicr a chadarn ar gystrawen a theithi'r Gymraeg, a gallu ardderchog i fynegi barn bersonol yn hyderus a chywir ar amryw bynciau. Byddant yn medru golygu a chywiro testunau ysgrifenedig i safon uchel iawn.

-another level-C- i C+ Bydd myfyrwyr sydd yn cyrraedd y lefel hon (50%) yn arddangos yn eu gwaith ysgrifenedig a llafar ddealltwriaeth dda o'r agweddau gramadegol a thechnegol perthnasol. Byddant yn arddangos gafael eithaf cadarn ar gystrawen a theithi'r Gymraeg, a gallu da i fynegi barn bersonol ar amryw bynciau. Byddant yn dangos y gallu i olygu a chywiro testunau ysgrifenedig.

Learning Outcomes

  • Bod yn ymwybodol o'r gwahaniaethau rhwng cyweiriau ffurfiol ac anffurfiol, yn achos Cymraeg ysgrifenedig a llafar.

  • Datblygu sgiliau golygu a chywiro gwaith ysgrifenedig Cymraeg (h.y. medru defnyddio gwybodaeth am gywair a gramadeg wrth ddrafftio, ailddrafftio a mireinio sgript).

  • Deall sut i lunio traethawd academaidd, gan ddefnyddio'r confensiynau ffurfiol arferol mewn gwaith Cymraeg.

  • Magu hyder wrth drafod ar lafar destunau llenyddol mewn ystod o lên-ddulliau, a materion academaidd cysylltiedig.

  • Magu sgiliau i ysgrifennu mewn Cymraeg da ar amrywiaeth o faterion (gan gynnwys testunau llenyddol mewn ystod o lên-ddulliau, a materion academaidd cysylltiedig), a hynny mewn cywair priodol i waith ffurfiol ac academaidd.
