School of Arts, Culture And Language
Module - Semester 1 & 2

Module Organiser: Elis Dafydd
Overview

Bwriedir y modiwl hwn fel rhagarweiniad i’r modd y mae gramadeg yn gweithio yn yr iaith fyw. Ceir trafodaeth ar gategorïau a ffurfiau safonol a cheisir gweld sut y defnyddir hwy mewn detholiad o destunau, mewn sawl cywair. Bydd y dosbarth yn cael ei rannu’n grwpiau, a fydd yn cwrdd bob yn ail â’r dosbarth llawn. Ceir amrywio felly rhwng trafodaeth mewn grwpiau bach a dysgu mwy ffurfiol yn y dosbarth cyfan. Bydd y cyflwyniad cefndirol i agweddau ar hanes y Gymraeg yn digwydd ar ffurf darlithoedd yn ystod wythnoasau 1-6.

Assessment Strategy

Bydd yn gallu defnyddio ffurfiau'r iaith yn bur gywir mewn ymarferion ac mewn darnau estynedig. Bydd hefyd yn dangos ymwybyddiaeth o gyweiriau iaith.

-good -B- i B+: Bydd y myfyriwr yn dangos dealltwriaeth dda o brif gategorïau gramadeg, ac yn dangos gallu da i gywiro a phwyso a mesur darnau ysgrifenedig yn unol â'r ddealltwriaeth hon. Bydd yn gallu defnyddio ffurfiau'r iaith yn gywir iawn at ei gilydd, mewn ymarferion ac mewn darnau estynedig. Bydd hefyd yn dangos ymwybyddiaeth dda o gyweiriau iaith.

-excellent -A- i A*: Bydd y myfyriwr yn dangos dealltwriaeth dda o brif gategorïau gramadeg, ac yn dangos gallu da i gywiro a phwyso a mesur darnau ysgrifenedig yn unol â'r ddealltwriaeth hon. Bydd yn gallu defnyddio ffurfiau'r iaith yn gywir iawn at ei gilydd, mewn ymarferion ac mewn darnau estynedig. Bydd hefyd yn dangos ymwybyddiaeth soffistigedig o gyweiriau iaith.
