Overview

Bydd y modiwl hwn yn cyfuno darlithoedd a gwaith maes i roi trosolwg bras ar y prosesau sydd wedi creu nodweddion arbennig tirwedd Eryri. Bydd y modiwl yn canolbwyntio ar bum brif thema, sef daeareg, ecoleg, coedwigaeth, amaeth a chymdeithas. Bydd y darlithoedd yn rhoi trosolwg bras ar y pynciau ac yn cyflwyno pwyntiau damcaniaethol a chysyniadol perthnasol. Y prif feysydd dan sylw fydd: daeareg waelodol; rhewlifiant; ecoleg ôl-rewlifol; ffurfio pridd; hanes gwleidyddol y gymuned; coedwigaeth breifat a choedwigaeth y wladwriaeth; hanes preswyliad dynol a defnydd adnoddau; hanes ffurfio a datblygu’r parc cenedlaethol. Bydd myfyrwyr yn cael eu hebrwng i safleoedd allweddol sy’n dangos sut y mae’r prosesau hyn yn rhyngweithio ac yn berthnasol i leoedd penodol.

Assessment Strategy

-Trothwy -(D) Mae gan y myfyriwr ddealltwriaeth sylfaenol o’r egwyddorion a gwybodaeth sylfaenol am y pwnc. Trafodir gwybodaeth berthnasol mewn dyfnder sylfaenol yn yr aseiniad a’r tasgau ysgrifenedig. Nodir mwyafrif y materion allweddol, ond efallai bod rhai bylchau o ran dealltwriaeth. Nid yw’r cysylltiad rhwng theori ac ymarfer wedi ei ddatblygu’n effeithiol.

-Da -(B) Mae’r myfyriwr yn dangos gwybodaeth gadarn am y pwnc, y gallu i gyfrannu’n adeiladol at y ddadl a’r gallu i ysgrifennu adroddiadau craff gyda dadleuon da. Yn cyflwyno gwybodaeth yn ddisgrifiadol yn yr aseiniadau a’r tasgau ysgrifenedig.

-Ardderchog -(A) Mae’r myfyriwr yn dangos gwybodaeth drylwyr am y pwnc a gallu amlwg i ddod ag amrywiol elfennau'r deunydd cwrs ynghyd. Tystiolaeth o ddarllen cefndirol. Nid oes unrhyw feysydd pwysig wedi eu hepgor ac mae’r myfyriwr yn dangos y gallu i ddadansoddi a gwerthuso gwybodaeth berthnasol yn feirniadol. Arddull gyflwyno eglur, gryno a ddisgrifiadol yn yr aseiniad a’r tasgau ysgrifenedig.

Learning Outcomes

  • Archwilio’r modd y mae’r gwahanol brosesau o ffurfio tirwedd yn rhyngweithio mewn amrywiaeth o raddfeydd gofodol ac amserol.

  • Dangos agwedd feirniadol a dadansoddol tuag at yr amgylchedd naturiol a’r amgylchedd a reolir.

  • Deall y prif brosesau diwydiannol, ecolegol, daearegol a chymdeithasol sydd wedi cynhyrchu nodweddion arbennig tirwedd Eryri.

  • Dehongli prif nodweddion y dirwedd yng nghyd-destun theorïau a dulliau perthnasol.
