Overall aims and purpose

Mae’r modiwl hwn yn ymdrin â’r cyfnod rhwng Cyngres Fienna a phan ddechreuodd y Rhyfel Byd Cyntaf o bersbectif eang, yn amrywio o strwythur cymdeithasol i hanes gwleidyddol a milwrol ac o'r tueddiadau diwylliannol i imperialaeth. Mae’n canolbwyntio ar Ewrop (gan gynnwys Ynysoedd Prydain). Mae disgwyl i fyfyrwyr fynd i bob un o’r 10 darlith er mwyn deall y themâu eang a sut maent yn asio i’w gilydd. Bydd rhan sylweddol o’r modiwl (3 gweithdy a 9 seminar) yn cyflwyno sgiliau astudio a dulliau methodolegol gan ddefnyddio enghreifftiau a themâu a drafodwyd yn y darlithoedd.
