Overview

Pam mae rhai athletwyr yn rhagori mewn sefyllfaoedd dan bwysau dwys un diwrnod ond yn disgyn ar ochr y ffordd y diwrnod nesaf? Sut allwch chi hyfforddi athletwyr ac unigolion eraill (e.e. milwrol, gwasanaethau brys, neu fusnes) i oroesi a ffynnu mewn sefyllfaoedd o dan bwysau mawr? Bydd y cwrs hwn yn darparu atebion ymarferol sy'n seiliedig ar dystiolaeth i'r cwestiynau hyn. Os ydych chi'n chwilio am yrfa mewn unrhyw barth sy'n gysylltiedig â pherfformiad yna mae cael dealltwriaeth o'r deunyddau ar y cwrs hwn yn hanfodol. Trwy astudiaethau achos athletwyr go iawn y mae'r darlithwyr wedi bod yn rhan ohonynt, cewch eich dysgu i gydnabod pam gall perfformiad torri i lawr o dan bwysau ac, yn bwysicach, yr hyn y gallwch chi fel ymarferydd ei wneud yn ei gylch.

Byddwch yn dysgu damcaniaethau cyfoes ac ymyriadau cymhwysol yn y llenyddiaeth straen a pherfformiad. Bydd gwaith ymarferol mewn darlithoedd yn ymdrin â meysydd allweddol o straen a pherfformiad - gall pynciau enghreifftiol gynnwys "Rheoli Sylw" e.e. pam bod bygythiad yn tynnu ein sylw? "Ailfuddsoddi" e.e. pam ein bod yn ceisio rheoli symudiadau yn ymwybodol pan ydym o dan bwysau? "Arfarniadau" e.e. sut mae ein canfyddiadau o straen yn siapio ein meddyliau, ein teimladau a'n gweithredoedd? "Datrysiadau" e.e. pa strategaethau seicolegol y gellir eu defnyddio i wneud y gorau o berfformiad dan bwysau?

Byddant yn gallu defnyddio eu dealltwriaeth ddyfn i ddangos sut y gall damcaniaethau ynghylch straen a pherfformiad egluro diferion perfformiad. Yn ogystal, byddant yn dangos ymyriadau cymhwysol yn glir yn seiliedig ar ymchwil ddamcaniaethol gadarn i liniaru effeithiau negyddol o'r fath a chyfiawnhau eu defnydd. Yn ogystal, byddant yn dangos gwybodaeth dda am ymyriadau cymhwysol yn seiliedig ar ymchwil ddamcaniaethol gadarn i liniaru effeithiau negyddol o'r fath a chyfiawnhau eu defnydd.

Trothwy -D- i C+ Dylai myfyrwyr allu dangos dealltwriaeth sylfaenol o'r damcaniaethau a'r modelau sylfaenol a gwmpesir yn y gwaith cwrs.
