Overall aims and purpose

  1. Atgyfnerthu ac ehangu gwybodaeth y myfyrwyr o ramadeg a geirfa Ffrangeg.
  2. Datblygu sgiliau cyfieithu i'r iaith darged ac ohoni, a sgiliau trin Ffrangeg ysgrifenedig.
  3. Datblygu sgiliau llafar a gwrando.
  4. Dod yn gyfarwydd â geirfa sy'n ymwneud â'r flwyddyn dramor sydd i ddod, a chyd-destunau cymdeithasol-ddiwylliannol eraill.

Bydd myfyrwyr sy'n dilyn y modiwl hwn yn gweithio tuag at gyrraedd lefel B2/C1 y Fframwaith Cyfeirio Ewropeaidd Cyffredin ar gyfer Ieithoedd (CEFR).

Course content

Gan adeiladu ar sylfaeni cwrs iaith y flwyddyn gyntaf, bydd dosbarthiadau ar sgiliau ysgrifenedig, gwrando a deal, cyfieithu i'r Gymraeg/Saesneg, a sgiliau llafar yn datblygu hyfedredd a rhuglder yn Ffrangeg. Bydd gwersi sgiliau iaith ysgrifenedig yn cynnwys adolygu pwyntiau gramadegol, aralleirio, cyfieithu i'r Ffrangeg ac ysgrifennu traethodau, ac yn canolbwyntio ar iaith newyddiadurol, lenyddol a phroffesiynol. Bydd y dosbarthiadau gwrando a deall yn defnyddio ffynonellau dilys oddi ar y teledu ac ati, ac yn cynnwys tasgau trawgrifio ac aralleirio. Mae'r deunyddiau iaith a ddefnyddir yn ymwneud â'r cyfryngau, cyflogadwyedd, y celfyddydau a materion cymdeithasol a diwylliannol. Bydd sgiliau llafar yn datblygu rhuglder mewn gwahanol gyweiriau. Bydd pob dosbarth yn datblygu'r sgiliau y bydd ar y myfyrwyr eu hangen yn eu trydedd flwyddyn pan fyddant mewn gwlad lle siaredir Ffrangeg

Assessment Criteria

threshold

40-49%: Gwybodaeth gyfyngedig o eirfa a gramadeg, a gallu cyfyngedig i gyfieithu ac aralleirio ystod o destunau penodedig.

good

50-69%: Gwybodaeth dda o eirfa a gramadeg, a gallu da i gyfieithu a thrin amrywiaeth o ddeunyddiau testunol. Gallu da ar lafar ac wrth wrando.

excellent

70+%: Gwybodaeth ragorol o eirfa a gramadeg, a gallu ardderchog i gyfieithu a thrin testunau, gyda dealltwriaeth gadarn o gywair. Gallu rhagorol ar lafar ac wrth wrando.

Learning outcomes

  1. Bydd y myfyrwyr yn gallu cyfathrebu'n effeithiol yn y Ffrangeg mewn gwahanol gyweiriau iaith.

  2. Bydd y myfyrwyr yn datblygu eu gallu i ddefnyddio eu geirfa gynyddol yn y Ffrangeg mewn ffordd briodol a chywir mewn amrywiaeth o gyd-destunau.

  3. Bydd y myfyrwyr wedi cael profiad o ddefnyddio gwahanol sgiliau, gan gynnwys cyfieithu, dadansoddi arddull, ysgrifennu traethodau ac exposés.
