-threshold -C-C+: 50-59% To achieve a ‘pass’ on the module, students will be required to demonstrate good understanding and some critical evaluation of the underlying principles of reflective practice and the planning and delivery in contemporary mental health practice. -good -B- to B+ Grade: 60-69%To achieve a ‘good pass’ the student will be required to demonstrate sound knowledge and critical evaluation of the underlying principles of reflective practice and the professional, legal and ethical requirements of clinical practice. -excellent -A - A* Grade: 70%>To achieve an ‘excellent pass’ on the module, students will be required to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and critical evaluation of the underlying principles of reflective practice and the professional, legal and ethical requirements of clinical practice.

reflective assignment A critical review of planning and care • A critical review of care planning and intervention drawn from a review of practice placement • focusing on policy & best practice related to a specific episode of care. • The students may select a focused (psychological, sociological or pharmacological) intervention. • The review will consist of a 4000-word reflection. Learning Outcomes 1. Critically evaluate and analyse the evidence for a range of interventions and approaches to create sustain and strengthen positive mental health and well being 2. Critically analyse and synthesise modes of intervention and support in mental health and the impact of clinical decision making and multi - professional working across mental health settings 3. Critically analyse safe and effective management of care, practice, and its relevance to mental health nursing 4. Critically evaluate principles of planning and organising safe therapeutic care in mental health nursing 5. Critically review clinical guidelines and schemes of care / interventions and their application across a range of difficulties and distress across the lifespan.
